What Is Communion?

Communion is a symbolic way to show that we belong to Jesus and to remember what He did for us. It’s a regular remembrance and celebration of His sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection.

The eating of bread has to do with Christ's body being broken on the cross. The drinking from the cup has to do with the shedding of Christ's blood with which we are forgiven.

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in
remembrance of me." In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant
in my blood, which is poured out for you.”

Luke 22:19-20

Jesus promised to spare us eternal death and cover our sins by His own blood. He broke His body and poured Himself out so that, if we believe, we can have a relationship with Him forever. We would like to invite you to take communion in your home—by yourself or with your family! You just have to…prepare, pause, pray, partake, and praise!

Over the next few weeks, we will be handing out communion bags in  anticipation for our online Christmas service. On Christmas Day at 10:00 AM an online service will be  released on our app, website, Facebook, and YouTube channel! In this video we will walk you through taking communion as a family. The video will remain online until the new year.
